Synopsis

In the post-war world, Rachel "Rae" Gunn, together with husband Carmine Todd, are the last two humans to be born after an inter-planetary conflict rendered all humans sterile. Although the aliens were defeated, Earth suffered heavy losses aside from the sterility of the human race, as most of the countries were destroyed and the only known survivable habitat was Russia. Moe Nafique, on a political-business trip in Russia, was left stranded this as his homeland France was destroyed. Together with the only remaining politians around, Moe formed a new government.

 

Rae was born in the polynesian islands and Carmine in Mexico a few months before evacuation for the great war was carried out. As they were babies, they were given high-priority and were rescued first. Soon after being identified as the youngest two people on earth, Rae and Carmine were abducted by government as infants, in order for them to be scientifically enduced with immense knowledge and physically trained , in hopes that they live long enough to fix this pandemic.

 

Now, as mere teenagers, they are looked upon by the remaining human population as the leaders of the poverty-stricken world, as they have become too lazy to fend for themselves, and are too dependant on them. There is an upside though, as they seemed to be loved by With everyone counting on them, Carmine often buckles under the stress and it's up to Rae to juggle keeping the world running and prevent her spouse from giving up. Luckily, with Rae's positive attitude, Carmine is always able to do his job and brush off his problems with a smile and s

 

Hope is restored when news breaks out that a secret, forgotten area of the world is rumoured to exist an island, where the disease has not spread and the existance of a continuing human race is possible. Desperate for a chance for retirement and to finally be free of their pressuring responsibilities, Rae and Carmine are rushed off to find these people as only they have the expertise and Moe has to spend all of his time running what's left of the world.

 

Upon arriving to the island Rae felt as if it was a resort getaway. It was probably the first time in their lives they were able to see the sun, and Rae dreamt of living there one day. However, Carmine reminded her of their mission and they left to further explore the island. Dangerous obstacles await them and they feel something is not right. Carmine suspects that a deliberate attempt to dispose of them is going on, while Rae remains positive that they were not sent on a suicide mission.

 

However, she begins to lose hope as Carmine is captured and she is left to find the people on her own. Instead of finding the humans, she discovers Moe surprisingly there, only he is revealed in fact, be an alien in disguise. The alien had murdered her good friend and used his corpse as a costume. Shocked and afraid, she flees the scene and feels lost. On her way, she discovers her husband in a cage where he reveals to her he has been trapped in for the past few days. During that time, he had observed the aliens from close range and realizes that some are good and some are bad. Rae frees her husband and they embrace. They then team up with the good aliens and manage to take down the bad ones, once and for all.

 

In the end, the aliens use their time-travelling technology to restore the earth back to the way it was before the great inter-planetary war. Rae and Carmine, with their pre-war versions of themselves aleady existing, are now according to the government, non-existant. Luckily, with their knowledge, they are able to figure out a way to get by everyday. Carmine invites Rae to walk along the street to see all the people that only exist because of them. The people, unaware that their very existance were at stake, show no appreciation to the two and bump against them on the street, being rude. They both brush that off with a smile, still proud of the human race they had saved. They then go to a forest on the outskirts of the city, and lift up a large flat rock, which was a portal to their beautiful secret island retreat, and play in the sand.

maybe in a different world Carmine would think more positively, but the weight of the world has made him a little gloomy. Still, he appreciates the effort from his wife and she’s his motivation.

Moe Nafique
a once-ally of the humans. The real Moe was captured and killed a long time ago when the earth was taken over, and the one the kids have gotten to know is an alien impostor. However, the alien has grown fond of his human counterparts, and has had a change of heart once he sees how determined they are. Admires them and convinces just enough of the other aliens to let them go.

Aliens
a race divided by whats good and whats bad. Their planet was dying, and they came here(a little rip off of transformers and avatar and countless alien takeover stories) in search for a new land. Some feel they have outstayed their welcome,

In the end, they form an atmosphere on the moon and live there.
